Mrs. Glenda Wood
Glenda Wood joined UMHB full time in the fall of 1989 after teaching here for several years as a part-time instructor. From Tennessee Technological University, Professor Wood received her B.S. in Mathematics with secondary certification, M.A. in Secondary Education with Mathematics specialization, and an Ed.S. with emphasis in Curriculum. Mrs. Wood is a sponsor of Delta Psi Theta mathematics organization, and Kappa Mu Epsilon mathematics honor society. Prior to her association with UMHB, she worked in Institutional Research and was the Certification Analyst for the College of Education at Tenn Tech. She and her husband, Ruben, reside in Cameron, Texas and have two daughters. The older is a 2006 graduate of Baylor University in Mechanical Engineering and the younger is a 2009 graduate of Baylor, employed as a Escrow Officer with her Real Estate License.
