Ms. Melissa Williams is a proud Crusader alumna from the class of 2007, and has enjoyed working at her alma mater since completing her bachelor's degree at UMHB. She then earned her Master of Arts in Human Services degree specializing in Executive Leadership from Liberty University in January of 2011. Melissa began her time working at UMHB as the Assistant Director of Alumni Relations, and then in October of 2012 became the Director of Graduate Admissions. After experiencing marked growth in the Graduate School, Melissa has been named the Director of Graduate Student Services & Engagement. She works with current graduate students to host events, assists graduate international students in transitioning to life in the U.S., as well as oversees recruiting and marketing for the Graduate School.
During Melissa's years as a student at UMHB she was involved in writing for The Bells campus newspaper, serving as a Resident Assistant, helped in hosting residence life events for students in the apartments, participated in Stunt Night, Revivial and many other campus events.
Melissa enjoys spending time traveling, eating at newly discovered restaurants, and relaxing at coffee shops with her husband, Les, who is also a proud UMHB graduate. Traveling internationally to participate in and lead mission trips is a passion as she desires to share the love of Christ with the nations. Lastly, she is very involved with her small group at FBC Belton and serves on the praise team.
