Patty is Associate Professor at UMHB, having joined the faculty after teaching in another DPT program for 8 years. She has been a PT for 30 years and has continued her clinical practice as well as teaching continuing education courses despite her move to academia. Patty is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists so focuses her practice around manual therapy care. She continues to be involved with the Women's Health section as Associate Editor for the section journal.
Patty and Her husband Jim have been married for 33 years and have 2 children who are working in the central Texas area. They are practicing Lutheran's and involved with a interdenominational faith community.
