I’m an “army brat” so I grew up moving around a ton, but I graduated from Copperas Cove High School.
Favorite thing about UMHB
The Christian environment. Whether it be in the classrooms, organizations, or on the field, I love that UMHB strives to be Christ-centered in all that they do.
I grew up moving around pretty close to every two years. The more I learned about UMHB, the more I knew this was the place I wanted to call home. During my time as a student I was involved in First Year Council, University Ambassadors, Welcome Week, Miss MHB, Revival, Search Cru, Cheerleading, and my senior year I had the opportunity to co-direct Homecoming with one of my best friends! The time I spent at UMHB truly shaped me into the person I am today. Now, I enjoy spending time with my friends, playing with puppies, and traveling.
I got baptized in the North Sea while on my second mission trip to Middlesbrough, England through the UMHB UK Mission Trip.
My UMHB Journey
I actually got my acceptance letter in the mail my junior year of high school and knew UMHB was where I was meant to be. I toured over eight other universities and found myself drawn back to UMHB every time. I started my first semester here in 2014, and my life was changed forever. Many staff and faculty members took time to pour into me, and continually help me grow as a person and as a leader. I found a passion for higher education while at UMHB, and I am excited to continue my studies and career in higher education.
