Dr. Haedy Liu

Dr. Liu grew up in the Bronx in New York City. After graduating from Brown University with a degree in biology, she and her husband lived and worked in several places in the U.S. before moving to Kunming, China in 1995. Dr. Liu taught high school biology and chemistry at an international school in Kunming and English-as-a-Foreign Language at Kunming Medical University, both in Yunnan, China. Later, Dr. Liu worked on a multi-national team in Kunming that developed HIV/AIDS training materials that were used in universities. Since moving back to the U.S. in 2010, Dr. Liu and her husband, Dr. Bob Liu, have lived in several places in Texas. The Lius have three children and currently attend Temple Bible Church.
