Dr. Haedy Liu

Dr. Liu grew up in the Bronx in New York City. After graduating from Brown University with a degree in biology, she and her husband lived and worked in several places in the U.S. In 1995, they moved to Kunming, China where Dr. Liu taught high school biology and chemistry at an international school in Kunming and English-as-a-Foreign Language at Kunming Medical University. Later, Dr. Liu led a multi-national team in Kunming that developed HIV/AIDS training materials that were used in universities. Since moving back to the U.S. in 2010, Dr. Liu and her husband, Dr. Bob Liu, have lived in Texas. The Lius have three children and currently attend Temple Bible Church.
