Mrs. Mandy Dycus
Scott and White School of Nursing
Mrs. Dycus joined the Scott and White School of Nursing at UMHB in 2017 as adjunct clinical faculty. She joined as full-time faculty in Fall 2019. Her professional experience includes fifteen years in oncology and five years in maternal-child nursing. She has served as a chemotherapy/biotherapy instructor, breastfeeding instructor, a mentor to teen mommas, and works at Pine Cove Christian Camp during her summers, as a camp nurse.
Mrs. Dycus graduated with her BSN in 2000 from East Texas Baptist Univeristy (ETBU) and her MSN in nursing education from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB) in May 2019. She is an active member of Temple Bible Church where she serves in the youth department and supports a small group led by her husband. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping, reading, and crafting with her family. She has one daughter, Hannah (12 years) and one son, Ian (age 6). She has been happily married to her husband Garrett Dycus (UMHB 2007 graduate) for the last 17 years.
