I have been a Resident Director for UMHB since July of 2012. It has been such a blessing to return to the UMHB family since graduating from UMHB in May of 2008. UMHB could not have been a more perfect place for me as an undergraduate student. As I pursued my Bachelors in Social Work I made incredible memories and friends. It was during my time at UMHB that I discovered my passion to work with college students. This directed my next steps to attend seminary to further prepare me for student ministry. In July of 2008 I moved to Waco, TX to attend Baylor University/George W. Truett Theological Seminary. I completed a dual Masters of Social Work/Masters of Divinity in December of 2011. After graduating from Baylor with my masters I was a social worker in Waco,TX before returning home to UMHB in July of 2012 to begin my work as a Resident Director. I am so thankful for the training, experience and love that I received at Baylor that has proven to be indispensable with my work here at UMHB. In my time here at UMHB, I have been the Resident Director of Johnson Hall from 2012-2014, of Burt Hall from 2014-2016 and I am currently the Resident Director of Remschel Hall.
I originally grew up in Benbrook, TX with my parents and 2 older brothers. I have been so blessed by the love and care they have given me over the years, and I am so thankful to have such a wonderful family.
